The Lord will protect his own
and not allow evil to triumph

We had another wonderful encounter with God in our church auditorium today. The first service started right on schedule at exactly 7:00 am with the second service continuing from 8:30 am - 9:30 am in strict adherence to the directives on safety protocols by the government in curtailing the spread of Covid-19.
The first session for today's service had Eld Joshua Tuxla speaking on the Psalmist prayer for protection in Psalm 91. He reminded the church of God's protection and guidance for his chosen ones amid the challenges facing the world today especially in the wake of the novel Covid-19 pandemic. He assured the audience that if they remained firm in the Lord, not giving up and not looking up to men for solutions, God will come through for them. Elder Joshua added that God's protection is sure if they are ready to depend on him through faith reminding everyone that the Christian walk is by faith not by sight(2 Cor 5:7). “The Lord will protect his own and not allow evil to triumph”, he added.
Elder Miguel Andoh continued as the speaker for the second service. His sermon was based off 2Kings 6:24-27. He spoke on the need to depend on the power of God in these trying times and not on our strength and wisdom. Elder Miguel asserted that human strength and wisdom is limited and subject to failure but absolute reliance and trust in the power of God produces desired results. He acknowledged the havoc this pandemic has caused in our lives but also assured us of God's limitless saving power. He, therefore, encouraged the church to call on God and depend solely on Him to take them through these difficult times. Concluding his sermon, reiterated that current happenings should not cause us to lose faith in God but rather encourage us to remain firmly grounded in Him.
