Revlation of God's
Glory Among the nations

Praise the lord!
We experienced another awesome service this past Sunday!
Church service began with a wrap up of the weekly bible studies on Tithing; the final topic in the series was titled “The benefits of tithing faithfully”. It has been an insightful exposition and a very timely one!
The speaker for today, Elder Vincent Okyere Akomeah preached on a message entitled, “Revelation of God’s Glory among the nations”. He stated that, God created man in his image and deposited in him his glory. Thus, from the beginning, the image and glory of God was deposited in the first man. Man was created from the beginning in GOD’S likeness so he might show forth God’s glory. This, according to Elder Akomeah, opened the avenue for the first man to have a very direct and intimate fellowship with his maker.
However, after the fall of man, the glorious nature of God departed from man; as stated in Romans 3:23, the bible says, ‘’…all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God”. The relationship between man and God was strained because sin had created a gap between man and his maker. So, in exodus 33:20, we read that it was impossible for man to see God and live.
According to Elder Akomeah, In the Old Testament, God manifests his presence to man in different forms though not directly. He revealed himself to Moses in the form of a burning bush in Exodus 3: 4-5. He on some occasions appeared to the people of Israel in a form of cloud, and or a pillar of fire etc. Exodus 33: 8-11 and chapter 20-23 provide us an example of the ways God showed off his presence and Glory to Moses and the Israelites.
Elder Akomeah further stated that, in our current dispensation, God has provided us the avenue to experience him more intimately than before. It is for this reason, he sent forth his beloved son, Jesus Christ to the world, to live amongst men. He transformed himself to the level where man could see and feel his glory, and to have a direct contact with Him (Hebrews 2:17). Through Jesus, we can see God, commune with him and still live. God has made Jesus Christ just like us to bridge the gap between man and himself. This is further affirmed in Colossians 1:27, where we know that, “…Christ in us, is the hope of glory.”
He stated that, the most important thing God expects from us today is to present ourselves as instruments to show forth his glory. If we avail ourselves and look beyond our situation, God will use us for his glorious purposes, he added.
Concluding the message, he charged the congregation to not wait any longer but to live right in their situation to glorify God and align their lives with His eternal goal. He created each and everyone of us for his glory and we are to live our lives in a manner that glorifies him. The glory of God may have departed from man because of sin but has been made available to us now, through Jesus Christ. This provision has been made by God regardless of our backgrounds. We therefore must make use of this grace, and give Jesus Christ a space in our life!
s Guess what!_Its only a few days to our next service! See you soon!
